30th APRIL - 15th MAY

Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) and CYberMouflons proudly present the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge (CCSC) 2022! CCSC is a Jeopardy style Capture the Flag (CTF) competition open to all Cypriot citizens. The challenges - carefully crafted by CCSC mentors - span a variety of Cyber Security topics such as Cryptography, Pwn, Reverse Engineering, Web Exploitation, Forensics and Steganography.

Engage in more than two weeks full of hacking, test your skills and win awesome prizes but also a chance to secure a spot in the National Cyber Security Team of the European Cyber Security Challenge (eligibility criteria apply)! Pre-existing knowledge is not required, therefore even if you don't feel competitive, join and share the fun with us!

The competition will run on CyberRanges platform. Registered participants will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed from there. In addition make sure that you join our discord server for real-time support, and chit-chat with CYberMouflons/CCSC mentors. Don't be shy.

Every problem has an assigned point value, which is usually representative of our perceived difficulty of the problem. Your total score is the sum of the points you obtain from every problem you solve. In case of ties, the time taken to solve the challenges will be used as the tie-breaker. There are no bonus points, so do not attempt to find hidden flags outside of the challenges. During the CTF, the scoreboard will display the ongoing scoreboard. After the competition ends, we will announce the winners, award the prizes and invite interviews for joining the national European Cyber Security Challenge team (only applicable to eligible participants).

All communications during the competition will be conducted through our Discord server. These are, announcements, IT support, hints and Q and As. Use the button below of the invitation in your inbox address to join the discord server. Further instructions will be sent out to registered users via email when the competition approaches. Note that registration will remain open for the duration of the competition.

Thanks to our sponsors, apart from the opportunity to secure a spot in the national team for European Cyber Security Competition (ECSC), top contestants will also be awarded with generous prizes! The current prize pool consists of the following:
