Για τέταρτη διαδοχική χρονιά το πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus σε συνεργασία με το Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου συνδιοργανώνουν τη μεγαλύτερη εκδήλωση του νησιού στο τομέα
της Ασφάλειας Υπολογιστών. Η εκδήλωση τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του ISACA Cyprus Chapter και χορηγείται από τη CS Circles Solutions LTD, το γραφείο του Ψηφιακού Πρωταθλητή, τον
Κυπριακό Σύνδεσμο Πληροφορικής, τις εταιρείες Grant Thornton και Runesec, καθώς και το International Cybersecurity Institute (ICSI). Η εκδήλωση στηρίζεται από τον Παγκύπριο
Διαγωνισμό Κυβερνοασφάλειας.
Μετά την μεγάλη επιτυχία και το sold-out των προηγούμενων ετών, το PentestCyprus 4.0 επανέρχεται δυναμικά στις 13 Απριλίου 2019 και για 3 η φορά στους χώρους του UCLan
Cyprus στην Λάρνακα (Πύλα). Στόχος της εκδήλωσης είναι η ενημέρωση και εκπαίδευση σε θέματα κυβερνοασφάλειας αλλά και η ανάδειξη των κορυφαίων ταλέντων του νησιού στο τομέα αυτό. Οι διαγωνιζόμενοι θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να δοκιμάσουν τις ικανότητες τους σε ένα πρωτοποριακό για τα κυπριακά δεδομένα διαγωνισμό CTF και να διεκδικήσουν σημαντικά έπαθλα. Επιπρόσθετα, οι συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 14-25 ετών που θα λάβουν μέρος στο διαγωνισμό, θα μπορούν συμμετέχουν στον Παγκύπριο Διαγωνισμό Κυβερνοασφάλειας (CCSC) μέσω του οποίου θα επιλεγεί η Εθνική Ομάδα που θα συμμετέχει στον Πανευρωπαϊκό Διαγωνισμό Κυβερνοασφάλειας (ECSC) . Όπως και τις προηγούμενες χρονιές, έτσι και φέτος την εκδήλωση θα πλαισιώνουν διακεκριμένοι ομιλητές και σημαντικά στελέχη εταιριών που δραστηριοποιούνται στο νησί.

UCLan Cyprus and University of Cyprus are the co-organisers of the biggest cybersecurity event on the island for the fourth consecutive year. Τhe event is organized under the
auspices of ISACA Cyprus Chapter and is sponsored by CS Circles Solutions LTD, the Cyprus Digital Champion, the Cyprus Computer Society, Grant Thornton, Runesec and the
International Cybersecurity Institute (ICSI). The event is supported by the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge.
The competition has been particularly successful in previous years managing to sell out each year since it first began. This year the event will take place on the 13 th of April 2019 and
for the third time, it will be hosted at UCLan Cyprus premises in Larnaca (Pyla). The event aims to inform and further educate on cybersecurity as well as to identify the top
talents of the island in this area. Contestants will have the opportunity to test their skills on a state-of-the-art for Cyprus, CTF competition and win important prizes. Moreover, contestants aged 14-25 years, will have the opportunity to participate at the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge (CCSC) through which the National team is selected in order to participate at the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC). As in previous years, the event will include distinguished speakers and important industry executives that operate on the island.
